If you are looking for an easy solution to Crack the protection of Microsoft Excel Worksheet you are in the right place. Here I (Ripon Sarkar) discussed the very easy way to do your desired task.  I am considering you use around excel 2016 of Microsoft Office Program where the openxml open-source specification is available.

As the method is also backward compatible, so you can use this method even in the older version of excel. Simply save-as from a .xls version to a .xlsx the version before you try it.

Method

1. At first, you Rename your target extension.xlsx/.xlsm file to .zip. (For example, Your targeted file name is Production Report.xlsx , So you have to rename the file as  Production Report.zip. As a result, the excel file was converted to a zip file. )
2. Then Right-click on the Production Report.zip file, and Extract all to a folder using windows explorer. So we get a folder named Production Report
3. Now open the xl\worksheets folder and Open or Edit the file using Notepad or any Text Editor Software with the correct sheet name.
4. Search for "sheetProtection": (You may use Ctrl + F Shortcut to find the search option and get the search box. Type sheetProtection in the field, then click on Find Next Button to easily find the following highlighted node.

5. Delete the whole node and save the file.
6. Now, select again the root folder named Production Report which contains all files with your edited file, then right-click it, and click Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder. So you get again a zip file named Production Report.zip
7. Again rename the resulting file named Production Report.zip to its original .xlsx/.xlsm extension as Production Report.xlsx

Open the file, and enjoy the magic 😀😀 the protection on that sheet will be gone.
